Mayor Attends Grand Opening Of The Residences at Kenilworth Park

Gragg Cardona Souadi, in partnership with Renewal Housing, Hallbridge Partners, The Carding Group, Systima Capital Management LLC, and AFFORDABLE HOUSING PARTNERS, INC, is proud to have held the grand opening of The Residences at Kenilworth Park, the first world-class, income-inclusive assisted living community in Ward 7, Washington, D.C. This innovative project sets a new standard for senior living, providing high-quality, affordable care for residents of diverse economic backgrounds.

This groundbreaking project highlights the power of public-private collaboration in delivering much-needed assisted living to the District of Columbia’s long-term care portfolio. The combined efforts of the development partners, along with the leadership of the Mayor’s team, the Council, and countless local government agencies, have made it possible to create a community that addresses the pressing need for affordable senior care in the region.

The grand opening celebration took place on June 3rd, 2024 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Mayor Bowser, community leaders, and project partners. Click here to see the Mayor Muriel Bowser’s remarks.
